Trap

Year-round Sunday shoots begin at 9:00am. Spring through Fall Tuesday and Friday shoots begin at 5:30pm. Cost is $3.00 per round. Shells are available for $6.00 a box or you can bring your own. Grants allow new shooters to shoot 2 rounds, with instruction, for free. Refreshments/meals are bring-your-own/potluck. Trap events are held at the Lower Club.

3D Archery

Philmont Rod Gun Club, Inc. offers a 28 3D Target Course set in simulated hunting situations. Classes of competition include: Freestyle, Limited and Unlimited, Traditional, Women, Youth, and Cubs with trophies in each class. Registration is from 7:30am to 11:00am, with a cost of $8.00 for adults and youths, and $4.00 for cubs (NYS Sales tax is included). Lunch is available at reasonable prices. Archery events are held at the Lower Club.

Youth Shooting

Due to lack of support the Youth Program has been suspended. If sufficient interest is generated and some other members wish to help out we will consider restarting the program. We apologize for any inconvenience. The Youth Shooting Program is open to Junior shooters 10-17. Boys and girls are both invited to participate in a program that is geared to learning marksmanship skills while developing responsibility, respect, self-discipline and self-confidence in a relaxed and safety conscious environment.
